ETD continues to assist clients meet HUD’s environmental regulatory requirements in Indian County. Our staff has been assisting individual tribal members to meet the agency's rules as they seek Guaranteed Home Loans under the HUD Section 184 program.   Most of our work has been on the Navajo Nation and more recently at the Gila River Indian Community.  We work closely with a loan agent who compiles the loan package. This new loan guaranteed opportunity is relatively unknown among the residents of tribal lands. It feels good to help young couples with well paying jobs build their dream home. By the way, Eunice completed HUD’s Environmental Review Training in Albuquerque, NM on December 6-8 and she highly recommends the course to others who must work through these stringent regulations.
